Fabric Scraps Jar

This old oversized mason jar I found in my moms cabinet, for free. :) Here are the before and after pictures for a fabric scrap jar.

I put stick on letters on the front of the jar then spray painted it and pulled the letters off! The fabric scraps will show through the glass in the letters. I added the ribbon and bow at the top, and finished! ;)

This will hold all of my fabric scraps after sewing projects.

Bow holder frame and Candle holder

I dont have before pictures of these projects. The picture frame bow holder that I made for my daughter (most of the bows were also made by me) I bought for a dollar as a plain green frame. I painted it and bought the hooks on the bottom for 97 cents. The candle holder was a dollar as well, it was black. I spray painted it white and added the ribbon and buttons.

Dresser Handles

This is the before and after pictures of some dresser handles I decorated for my daughters dresser. I bought the handles for 35 cents each at Lowes. They are painted pink with zebra print iron ons on the fronts and finished with little pearl stick ons (which I hot glued on)

This is where it all began...

Almost nine months ago now, I had a baby girl! Me and my husband were so thrilled. I got into making little things for her in my spare time (mostly bows in the beginning) as a stay at home mommy and I have recently really discovered my love for making something out of nothing and making old things new again. I am getting a sewing machine soon for my birthday and I am sure it will be an adventure as I learn how to use it! So I decided to share the things I make and find, I want to do before and after pictures of my projects and crafts. I will also be writing and sharing pictures on how my sewing is coming along...either good or bad!

So yeah, thats what this will all be about and this is what I have decided to call it. Feel free to read. :)
